$5 for unusable tires (for all tires at two drop off sites); or $10 for larger truck/ equipment tires (over 22"); Tires in good condition will sell for $15-$30 each depending on size; 50% off starting at 10:00am

Provides a three-day annual event to fund low-income emergency heating programs by accepting and reselling donated used tires. During the first two days, tires may be dropped off and are either recycled if unusable or sold on the final day. Tires for sale will have been inspected by the Department of Motor Vehicles. There is a fee for waste tires.

Capstone Community Action is a regional community action agency that provides a continuum of case management services, advocacy and assistance to help move families, in over 56 towns located primarily in Washington, Lamoille and Orange Counties, from anti-poverty to self-sufficiency. Programs and services include case management and advocacy, Early Head Start/Head Start, food programs, homelessness prevention, transportation assistance, emergency fuel assistance, weatherization information and assistance, small business development, individual development accounts, and tax preparation assistance.
