Removes and arranges for the disposal of bear, moose, turkeys, and deer found dead on state roads. The webpage provides a place to search by town for local game wardens throughout Vermont. Dead animals on the Interstate are handled by Vermont Agency of Transporatation road crews under a contract with Fish and Wildlife, but would not be contacted directly. Cities and towns are not obligated under law to handle this, but some towns may.
