Description

Offers programs that provide students with opportunities to explore a variety of careers in health care via presentations, shadowing experiences, and hands-on learning. The Institute on Health & Medicine is a one-week residential program provided in collaboration the Governor's Institutes of Vermont. NORTHERN VERMONT AREA HEALTH EDUCATION CENTER

The Northern Vermont Area Health Education Center (NVTAHEC) is part of a national initiative to address the availability and distribution of health care services in our rural communities. Working in alliance with the University of Vermont College of Medicine and other educational institutions, NVTAHEC works to promote excellence in the health care system of its region, which includes Caledonia, Chittenden, Essex, Franklin, Grand Isle, Lamoille, Orange, Orleans and Washington counties.
